Safer Internet Day

Year 4 learnt about consent on the internet this week for Safer Internet Day.

We learnt that sometimes you need to get permission for online activities, as well as sometimes giving permission. We talked about how sharing videos of our friends without their permission can be hurtful to our friendships, as well as how giving out information to our favorite game apps can lead to a loss of privacy (allowing location to be known on Pokemon Go for instance.)

The children talked through scenarios and discussed the correct solutions to each.
