A muddy time was had by all!

On Thursday 7th December we had our Year 3 Trip to Delamere Forest and we certainly had a magnificently muddy time!
First, we had a 40 minute coach journey to the forest. Then we played games in groups and started to improve our map reading skills. We were able to point to north, east, south and west. We used a map of the grounds to collect letters to make a word. As well as this, we had to complete a birds eye map jigsaw in groups; this helped us improve our team building skills. We slugged through mud and puddles to take part in a treasure hunt activity. Luckily no one lost their Wellington boots in the mud!

We had a wonderful time orienteering and worked extremely well as a team, we followed instructions and proudly showed all of our school values and represented our school well.
