A Peaceful Protest

Home / News / A Peaceful Protest

As part of our Road Safety Week, the Parent Council organised a peaceful protest every morning and evening.

By doing this, they hope to spread the message that parents should be able to take their children to and from school safely without dodging parked cars which have pulled up on the double yellow and zigzag lines.

They were joined by Partington Day Nursery, the Ear4u ladies, Adele New our local Labour Councillor, PCSOs and many parents, children and members of our community.  We would like to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who has supported this protest!

Remember

PLEASE DON’T PARK OUTSIDE OUR SCHOOL,

IT IS SELFISH AND DANGEROUS!

Let’s keep our children safe.

On Tuesday 9th October, Jude Lennon the author of SuperBob/S.T.O.P. and part of the Slow Down Bobby campaign visited our school to talk to our children about road safety and to read her books.

You can find out more about the campaign at https://thebobbycollerantrust.org.uk/ or www.facebook.com.com/ slowdownbobby. Parents and carers were also invited to come along to our ‘Slow Down Bobby’ Assembly.
