A minute silence to pay our respects

Home / News / A minute silence to pay our respects

Today is the anniversary of the Manchester Bombing and a service will be held in Manchester Cathedral attended by Prince William and the Prime Minister between 2.00pm and 3.00pm.

As part of this service – and across all government buildings – a minute’s silence will be held at 2.30pm.

All classes in Partington Central Academy will be taking part to show a mark of respect with Key Stage 2 going into the hall together and Key Stage 1/EYFS having their minutes silence in their classrooms.
